This slide lecture kit, published in 1999, represents a collaborative effort by the Post-Polio Task Force – a group of eight experts from the PPS healthcare and patient communities – whose mission was to raise awareness of, and disseminate information on PPS. The kit is divided into five sections:

I. Epidemiology, Natural History, Definition, and Diagnosis of PPS

II. Pathophysiology of PPS

III. Evaluation and Differential Diagnosis of PPS

IV. Management of PPS

V. Optimizing Wellness: The Role of the Patient in PPS.

This kit is intended to provide the materials and information necessary to deliver a comprehensive lecture on PPS.
