Equally Able Foundation

Founded in 2001 as HelpHandicap Foundation, EquallyAble Foundation’s mission is to integrate people with disabilities into mainstream living, to help them become self-supporting and independent, and enable them to lead an undiminished and accomplished life. EAF's founder, Mohammed Yousuf, is a polio survivor from India who came to US in 1990 and has since associated himself with a number of disability-related initiatives to empower people with disabilities in the US and other countries.

EquallyAble Foundation has formed alliances with like-minded organizations in the US and India. The programs offered by EquallyAble Foundation in India aim to empower and educate people with disabilities and are geared towards providing the means to make them mainstream citizens of the society. Their programs in the US focus on inclusion and awareness and attempt to offer a forum for continued dialogue and support in different cities and community centers.
