Disease Control Priority Project (DCPP)

From the DCCP project is this volume entitled, "Strengthening Health Systems," summarizing international efforts to assess disease control priorities and produce evidence-based analysis and resource materials to inform health policymaking in developing countries. It provides and overview of several endemic diseases, including polio, in third world countries, and the coordination of international, regional, and private organizations to improve the health infrastructure and eradication efforts that have resulted in much-needed intervention surveillance systems in those countries.© 2006 The World Bank Group
